When you add an EX Controller to the Enterprise Gateways form, if the Auto Program Trunk Profiles option is selected:

  1. The system identifies the available endpoints on the EX controller and a trunk profile for each type of trunk endpoint is created.

  2. The trunk endpoints in the Gateway Trunks form are auto-assigned to each of the trunk profiles based on the trunk types.

  3. SIP Peer Network Elements and SIP Peer Profiles are created with the same names as the Gateway Trunk Profiles.

NOTE: The SIP Peer Network Element and the SIP Peer Profile records that are created are listed in the Network Elements and SIP Peer Profile forms respectively.
